It's that glorious time of year again - Fabinelli's annual visit to Trinity Church for the Christmas Journey. This year, Paul and his crew of candy creators will make handmade candy canes before your very eyes. Watch Paul spin sugar into beautiful, delicious candy canes - bound to make any Christmas tree a delight to behold. Don't forget, this is also the perfect time to pick up hand-dipped chocolates, toffee and other Fabinelli's treats. Look below for dates and times:

Don't Miss Fab Candy in Chesaning MI

Fabinelli's Candy will hold a booth at Chesaning's 2009 Santa's Village. The fun filled family day includes crafts for children, entertainment such as the Polar Express, food booths, slides and other rides and, of course, Santas Claus. Fab Candy will be selling an array of delectable goodies including handmade chocolates, candy canes, hard candy, and other sweet treats. We're Back at Trinity Church for Christmas 2009

Fabinelli's Candy is back for the 2009 Christmas Journey at Trinity Church in Lansing. Join Paul Ghinelli and his family and watch first hand the creation of traditional candy canes. The Journey will be held on December 4th, 5th and 6th and the following weekend December 11th, 12th, and 13th from 5:45 pm to 9 pm. Tickets are only $2, but remember that Fabinelli's will be selling handmade candy canes and chocolates as well.

Fabinelli's Candy at Trinity Church

Fabinelli's candy will be made and sold this weekend 12/5 thru 12/7 and next weekend 12/12 thru 12/14 at Trinity Church in Lansing. Fabinelli's will participate in the church's "Christmas Journey." Paul and his friends and family will make homemade candy canes right in the church so that people can see first hand how traditional candy canes are created. Fabinelli's will also sell boxed chocolates, toffee, smore's bars and various other delectable treats. Got Candy on the Brain

Well a wonderful weekend of candy making bliss has come and gone. This weekend was devoted to hours of creating hand made candy canes. From boiling the candy cane mixture to forming the perfectly shaped hooks, each cane was made with the utmost care. The major flavors of the weekend? Butter rum, peppermint, and grape. Paul pulls the sweet mixture over a metal bar, the heavy scent of peppermint stingingly potent in the kitchen. As he gently pulls and forms the colored candy mix, Paul kneads the dough into pencil sized candy canes, pearl white against deep reds. Each candy cane is completely unique, still warm as it moves down the line. 

Fabinelli's Candy- Nothing But The Best

Paul Ghinelli comes from a long line of candy makers. It all started in 1914 when his great grandfather Charles Fabiano opened an ice cream shop in Holland, Michigan. The ice cream, an immediate hit, grew into a candy shop as well, at the urging of Charles's son, Michael Fabiano. Using only the finest ingredients and homemade techniques their decadent ice cream and candies quickly grew into a household favorite. Their business expanded, passing through generations of Fabiano and Ghinelli candy makers. Paul Ghinelli continues the legacy, 94 years after his great grandfather originally revealed Fabiano's Ice Cream and Candy to Michigan. He currently holds the Guinness World Record for the largest hand made candy cane and one of the largest hand made ribbon candy. He remains true to the traditional hand made process and delights Michigan Candy and Chocolate Lovers with Fabinelli's delightful treats.
